Employment is responsible for the:
  • Evaluating of the job candidates to ensure minimum qualifications are met
  • Hiring and conducting new employee orientation
  • Posting of job announcements
Job announcement postings fall into the following categories: permanent, part-time, or temporary. Each permanent or temporary position may also be classified as either open or closed promotional.
  • Open postings are open to both current county employees and the public workforce.
  • Closed promotional postings are open to current county permanent or temporary employees only. Employees on original job probation, disciplinary probation, extended probation, or suspension are not eligible.
